“That’s ridiculous,” is often my reaction when faced with unrealistic recommendations from real estate and lifestyle coaches and gurus at this time of year. Some of these lists and new habits we are supposed to adopt and launch in the winter can be overwhelming. This year has been filled with legal strife in our industry, and instead of sugarcoating it, let’s recognize it and focus on intentional changes for 2025, aiming for personal happiness and business success.
Here are 25 action steps, in no particular order, to prepare for 2025:
Purge
1. Purge your calendar
Simplify your schedule by removing unnecessary tasks and delegating where possible to save your sanity. Focus on what truly matters and prioritize self-care.
2. Purge the ‘stuff’
Reduce physical and digital clutter to free up time and energy for more important activities. Minimalism can help create a more peaceful environment.
3. Purge your business tools
Evaluate and eliminate unused or ineffective tools to streamline your business operations. Focus on utilizing free or included tools that align with your marketing needs.
4. Purge your mail, email
Declutter your inbox and mailbox to avoid missing important information. Unsubscribe from irrelevant emails and manage your communication channels effectively to maintain productivity.
5. Purge your comparison attitude
Instead of trying to emulate others, focus on your unique strengths and brand. Avoid unnecessary comparisons and prioritize authenticity in your business approach.
Prospect
6. Prospect with intention
Set clear goals for prospecting in Q1, prioritize valuable leads, and maintain meaningful communication with potential clients.
…
Prioritize your health and well-being to maintain a sustainable work-life balance. Invest time in self-care to prevent burnout and improve your overall quality of life.
21. Stop involving yourself in business that isn’t yours
Avoid unnecessary drama, gossip, and toxic environments. Focus on your own business and personal growth, steering clear of distractions that do not align with your goals.
22. Stop feeling guilty
Celebrate your progress and effort, even if you haven’t reached certain milestones. Practice self-compassion and strive for continuous improvement without being too hard on yourself.
23. Stop complaining without taking action
Channel your frustrations into actionable steps for improvement. Refrain from complaining if you are not willing to take proactive measures to address the issue.
24. Stop being unsure of yourself
Trust your instincts, values, and decisions. Avoid overthinking and rely on your intuition to guide you in business and life.
Make rest a priority in 2025 to enhance your efficiency and well-being. By focusing on self-care, you can achieve sustainable success and genuine connections in your business.
Embrace a calm, intentional energy for the new year, prioritizing meaningful interactions and impactful strategies for your business growth and personal fulfillment.
Create a business strategy that aligns with your values and emphasizes community impact and client satisfaction. Sustainable prosperity will follow when you prioritize people over material success.
As you set your intentions for 2025, aim for peace and fulfillment, knowing that success lies in your ability to make genuine connections and meaningful contributions.
