The defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers have been plagued by numerous injuries this season.
Quarterback Brock Purdy missed a game due to a shoulder injury, while Brandon Aiyuk and Christian McCaffrey also suffered significant injuries. Nick Bosa and Deebo Samuel have also had their playing time affected by injuries.
Fred Warner has been a consistent performer for the team this season, despite battling an ankle injury since late September.

“It’s something I deal with every game,” Warner said. “I get on that table before every game and get it shot up every single game just to be able to roll. But it’s not an excuse. It’s just what it is. That’s the NFL. You’re not going to be healthy. You’ve got to go out there, you’ve got to find ways to execute, to play at a high level and to win every single week.”
Warner has only been listed as a limited participant in practice once since the injury. Despite the setback, he has been playing well with 84 tackles and two interceptions this season.
Warner expressed his willingness to play through the pain and acknowledged the slim chance of the injury healing while he continues to compete.
