At least 50 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours due to a series of Israeli attacks.
One of the attacks targeted a tent camp in the al-Mawasi area, known as a humanitarian “safe zone”, resulting in the deaths of eight individuals, including two children.
The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah reported receiving three bodies following an air strike on a school-turned-shelter in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Subsequent attacks included targeting a civilian vehicle transporting displaced individuals in al-Mawasi, resulting in two deaths.
Another attack targeted a vehicle carrying security personnel, who were volunteers assisting in the distribution of humanitarian aid to designated areas.
Additional strikes hit a school housing displaced people in the Nuseirat refugee camp and an area north of the camp, resulting in the death of one person in each location.
These attacks mark a violent 24 hours in the Gaza Strip, with reports from medical sources indicating that a total of 50 individuals have lost their lives since early Sunday.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel’s conflict with Gaza has led to the deaths of at least 45,259 Palestinians and the injury of 107,627 individuals.
