President Donald Trump revoked the security clearances of over 50 national security officials who suggested that Hunter Biden’s laptop resembled a Russian information operation.
In 2020, a group of 51 former national security officials penned a public letter claiming that despite the absence of direct evidence linking Russia to the laptop, it appeared to be part of a Russian disinformation campaign.
The letter was prompted by the New York Post’s reports on emails showing Hunter Biden arranging a meeting between Joe Biden and a top executive at Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, before pressuring Ukrainian officials to remove a prosecutor investigating the firm.

Federal investigators determined that Hunter Biden’s laptop was unaltered and contained credible evidence, as reported by Fox News Digital previously.
Sen. Lindsey Graham and other Republican lawmakers have advocated for the removal of security clearances from these officials.
