Wilkes-Barre Township Solicitor John Rodgers during a council meeting Monday night said Business Manager Michael Revitt resigned from his position amid an ongoing personnel issue.
“I also can confirm, and I want to be very clear, there is no state or federal external agencies involved in this investigation,” he said. “It’s an internal issue that’s being handled internally.”
Rodgers also stated that locks were changed on the municipal building earlier that day, per the township’s policy when an employee leaves their position.
Rodgers did not offer any more details on the nature of the investigation.
