Ahmedabad: The State Examination Board has declared the results of the primary and secondary art examinations, showing a high success rate across both levels. The primary art exam recorded a pass percentage of 96.57%, while the secondary exam saw an impressive 99.76% success rate.According to official data, 1,56,516 students had registered for the primary art exam in the state. Of these, 52,420 students were absent, while 1,04,096 appeared for the exam. A total of 1,00,526 students passed, with 56,790 securing A grade; 21,270 receiving B grade, and 22,466 obtaining C grade.The secondary art exam witnessed registration of 17,165 students across the state. Despite 7,016 absences, 10,149 students appeared for the test. Of these, 10,125 passed, resulting in a 99.76% success rate. Grade-wise, 8,723 students secured A grade, 890 B grade, and 512 were C grade.In Ahmedabad district, the performance remained strong. In the primary exam, 8,204 out of 8,382 students passed, with 2,722 getting A grade. The secondary exam recorded a perfect pass rate, with all 564 participants clearing the test. Of these, 513 students secured an A grade.Education officials credited the high success rate to students’ consistent performance and schools’ efforts in promoting art education across the state.
