BOZEMAN, Mont. — High school students from Chinook and Turner were among nearly 30 students statewide who attended the Quantum Summer Academy at Montana State University last month.
Hosted by MSU’s Science Math Resource Center, the five-day program introduced students to quantum science through hands-on engineering challenges and lab tours.
Participants built sensor prototypes using tools like 3D printers and laser cutters and explored real-world applications of quantum technologies.
The academy aimed to inspire students from rural communities to consider future careers in science, technology, and engineering.
