During the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, anti-Israel protesters were seen shouting expletives at police officers and demanding that they quit their jobs.
One protester even stood in front of fellow demonstrators and yelled “F— you!” at a group of Chicago police officers outside the Israeli consulate building.
The protester accused the officers of not caring about the city of Chicago, its people, or the protesters.
“F— every single one of you until you quit your job,” the protester added.

Some demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and wore black clothing with face coverings.
Police eventually warned the protesters to disperse or face arrest.
As police moved in to detain protestors, chants of “Let us go!” could be heard, and several people were taken into custody. Police also confiscated a megaphone and used zip ties on at least five individuals.
After being detained, one officer removed the hood of a protester’s jacket.

A significant police presence remained long after the protests began, even as the Democratic National Convention continued at the United Center a few miles away.
Earlier in the day, Israel supporters, including relatives of Hamas kidnapping victims, gathered near the consulate to advocate for U.S. support of Israel and the release of hostages.
