SHREVEPORT, La. — In response to a recent homicide and the shooting of two juveniles, multiple agencies joined this week to look for criminal violations at the Lifestyle Apartments on Lakeshore Drive.

Shreveport police and the city marshal’s office arrested multiple people who had active warrants and illegal contraband. Notably, the majority of those arrested did not live at the apartment complex and were not listed on any leases, Cpl. Chris Bordelon said.

Arrested individuals include:

· Jason Harris, 31; possession of multiple types of narcotics, illegal carrying of a weapon with narcotics, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

· Joycelyn Johnson, 31; city marshal warrants for traffic violations.

· Zohuri Edwards, 28; Caddo Parish warrant for possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

· Micheal Casey, 35; city marshal warrants for traffic violations.

· Sharon Coleman, 52; city marshal warrants for traffic violations.

· James Merrit, 52; Caddo Parish warrant for illegal use of a weapon; Shreveport City Marshal warrant for resisting an officer.

· Demond Wilson, 24; negligent carrying of a weapon.
