Members of the public are being given an opportunity to look inside Wick Town Hall next week.

The Royal Burgh of Wick Community Council has arranged for the doors of the Bridge Street building to be open on Tuesday, July 29, from 2pm until 4pm.

Community council chairman Allan Bruce said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for members of the public to access the town hall and explore some of the fascinating history contained within.

“Roy Mackenzie and Alex Paterson will be on hand to pass on some of their vast local knowledge. It would be great to see as many people as possible come along.”
