METRO says a bus driver suffered a medical episode before crashing into a north Houston business near North Freeway and West Road on Thursday.
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Officials say a METRO bus ran off the road and hit a building in north Houston Thursday morning.
METRO says it happened off the feeder road of the I-45 North Freeway near West Road at about 1:15 a.m.
Authorities told ABC13 that the driver suffered a medical problem while driving and crashed into a fence before hitting a window tinting business, which appeared to be closed at the time.
METRO said the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and no one else was on the bus.
