Duel’s second phase of refurbishment is coming to a close, with owner Ernie Phelps hoping to open in early August after being closed since February.
The top floor will include three full-sized pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, karaoke rooms, a DJ suite, a cinema-style sports screen, a bar and a stage for live music.
Ernie said: “It’s been a long time coming, we’re excited to get it open.
“Families are welcome, it will be a family-friendly sport and entertainment hub.”

The bar, which operates at the centre of the upstairs, will include food service from Brothers, who specialise in fried chicken.
The two karaoke rooms, which can hold 10-15 people, will be waitress-served and can be used as private party rooms or specifically for karaoke.
Ernie said: “It’s a little bit different to what we first announced, there will be no bowling due to space.
“Downstairs has been going well, we’ve got some healthy competition now, and we’re excited to get back to being a hub.”
