Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. exited Sunday’s game to undergo evaluation for a concussion after colliding with Green Bay Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie.
Following a second-quarter incompletion, Harrison tried to get up but seemed unsteady. He then went into the injury tent on the sidelines and eventually walked into the tunnel.
Harrison has recorded 17 catches for 279 yards and four touchdowns for the Cardinals, who drafted him from Ohio State with the fourth overall pick in this year’s draft.
In other injury news, New Orleans Saints starting receiver Chris Olave was ruled out for evaluation for a concussion after a helmet-to-helmet hit resulted in a fumble that was returned for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers touchdown on Sunday.
During a strip attempt by Bucs defensive back Tykee Smith, Olave was hit hard in the head by cornerback Zyon McCollum while catching a pass from Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler.
Olave, a first-round draft pick from Ohio State in 2022, had 22 catches for 275 yards and a touchdown in the first five weeks of the season.
Olave had previously been in the NFL’s concussion protocol twice in the last three seasons.
