What’s the best advice you ever got from a mentor or colleague?
When I began my real estate career, I did not have a mentor. I learned the importance of asking questions to gain the knowledge I needed. While some aspects of this career can’t be taught, experience is key to becoming a seasoned professional in the industry.
What do clients need to know before they begin a real estate transaction?
As a seller, understanding the current market and the importance of curb appeal is crucial. It’s important to work with a passionate and experienced broker who will market your home effectively and be fully committed to the sale.
What do too few agents know that would make their lives easier?
Being organized, listening more than speaking, and honing sales skills are key factors that can make an agent’s life easier. Responding promptly and understanding client needs are also vital for success in the real estate industry.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? How does real estate relate to that childhood goal?
Initially interested in art and photography, Andrea’s career journey eventually led her to real estate, where her artistic eye and sales skills come together. She helps clients present their properties visually and sells them skillfully.
