Embrace the holiday style spirit! When Nicole Richie dresses up for the holiday season, she enjoys experimenting with the latest trends, but you won’t see her revisiting any past looks from The Simple Life.
The designer shared her tips for creating festive outfits while hosting an exclusive cocktail hour at REVOLVE’s Holiday Shop at The Grove in Los Angeles, California with House of Harlow 1960 and The Flamingo Estate on Nov. 21.
“Fall and winter are my favorite seasons for dressing. It’s the time when I can be the most creative,” she explained.
When it comes to how the actress achieves this: “I love wearing warm jewel tones and getting into the holiday spirit. … I adore the House of Harlow burgundy and hunter green leather jackets. They add a touch of edge to festive outfits that feel a bit more formal and traditional.”
One way Richie, 43, elevates her outfits is by layering on jewelry.
“Jewelry always helps to add some sparkle to your look and your soul,” she observed.
While fans eagerly await her reunion special with Paris Hilton, Paris and Nicole: The Encore, premiering on Dec. 12 on Peacock, don’t anticipate seeing Richie in her iconic nostalgic ensembles.
“[I would never wear] any of it 1732337759,” she confessed.
However, Richie always appreciates a thoughtful Christmas gift.
“This year, I would love pillows featuring my dog’s face. … I’ve never received a bad holiday gift. I believe gift-giving is a genuine act of love, and I cherish them all.”
