Broncos capitalize on pick-sixes to defeat Browns 41-32, spoiling Jerry Jeudy’s revenge bid

Ja’Quan McMillian ran an interception back 44 yards for a game-winning touchdown with 1:48 left, leading the Denver Broncos to a 41-32 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Monday night, despite outstanding performances by Jameis Winston and Jerry Jeudy.

Winston set a franchise record with 497 passing yards and four touchdowns, while Jeudy had a remarkable game with nine catches for 235 yards, including a touchdown. This marked the most receiving yards by a player against his former team in NFL history.

Despite Winston throwing three interceptions, two of which were returned for touchdowns, including one by Nik Bonitto, the Broncos were able to secure the win.

Bo Nix also put up a strong performance with 294 passing yards, connecting with Marvin Mims Jr. for a 93-yard touchdown. However, he also threw two interceptions.

The 8-5 Broncos claimed the final playoff spot before their bye week, with a 76% chance of making the postseason. This would mark their first playoff appearance since winning the Super Bowl in 2015.

Winston’s impressive performance surpassed the Browns’ previous record for passing yards, as he fell to 2-3 as a starter for the team.

Jeudy, who was traded to Cleveland after four seasons in Denver, played a significant role in the game.
