Amazon revealed during CCXP in Brazil that season three of the Prime Video fantasy series The Wheel of Time will be available for streaming starting on March 13th, 2025, as reported by Deadline. A new teaser trailer has also been released, hinting at high stakes that involve the life of a key character.
The teaser begins with Rand al’Thor (Joshua Stradowski) and others observing a mist-covered city from a hill. Rand and Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) are on their way to the Aiel Waste to uncover the truth about the Dragon Reborn in this upcoming season. For those unfamiliar with the show or Robert Jordan’s book series, Rand is the prophesied individual who could either save or doom the world depending on his choices.
Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) declares, “I have seen a thousand thousand futures. In all of them where I survive, Rand perishes.” She adds, “The only way he survives is if I don’t,” as she is later depicted unconscious and carried by Rand towards the end of the trailer.
Apart from Stradowski and Pike, the upcoming season will feature the return of other notable characters such as Perrin Aybara (Marcus Rutherford), Nynaeve al’Meara (Zoë Robbins), Mat Cauthon (Dónal Finn), and al-Lan Mandragoran (Daniel Henney).
