If you’re tired of all the titanium multitools on Kickstarter, the AX02 EDC Carabiner tool might be a refreshing change. This brass-bodied device can cut, saw, screw-drive, bottle-open, and help you navigate.
Manufactured by Hong Kong gear company Ti-MAN, the AX02 is mostly made of a brass alloy with a steel knife blade and serrated steel blade. The blades measure 30mm and 27mm in length, respectively.
At one end of the AX02, there’s a bottle opener, and on the other side, there are holes for a compass and bit driver sockets. The AX02 also features magnetic rings to stick onto ferromagnetic surfaces.
You can also loop paracord through the holes if they’re left empty, and the device can be used for tasks like hanging gear. Just remember, it’s not suitable for rock climbing.
