Shamrock Rovers have been drawn to play against Molde in the knockout play-off round of the UEFA Conference League.
Despite a 5-1 loss to Chelsea, Shamrock Rovers’ 10th place finish in the league phase earned them a seeded position in the draw.
In the league phase, the Dublin club won three out of six matches, defeating teams from Northern Ireland, Wales, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A win against Molde would see Stephen Bradley’s team face either Cercle Brugge or Legia Warsaw in the last 16.
Due to their seeding, Shamrock Rovers will play the second leg at home on February 25, with the first leg scheduled for February 13.
Chelsea finished on top in the league phase with six wins, allowing them to skip the knockout round play-offs and proceed directly to the last 16 in March where they will face one of Gent, Real Betis, Copenhagen, or Heidenheim.
Gent will face Real Betis, while Copenhagen will take on Heidenheim in the two-legged ties, with Chelsea and Vitoria de Guimaraes awaiting the winners. The matchups will be determined in the draw for the round of 16, quarter-finals, and semi-finals on February 21.
As a seeded team, Chelsea will play the away leg on March 6, with the second leg scheduled for March 13 at Stamford Bridge.
