The Quintin Group hinted at the move on Facebook last week before releasing a joint statement with eXp. The team, led by founder Jeff Quintin, will transition along with 15 agents and four staff members.

“I chose to join eXp Realty due to its innovative, agent-focused model that provides unmatched opportunities for growth and expansion,” said Quintin regarding the transition.

Before joining eXp Realty, Quintin’s team was associated with Prudential Fox & Roach Realtors and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, eventually moving to Keller Williams in 2016. During their time at KW, The Quintin Group expanded to nine offices in New Jersey, two in Pennsylvania, and one in Jupiter, Fla. Quintin also acquired Outer Banks, NC-based brokerage Resort Realty in 2019, significantly enhancing the group’s position to become Keller Williams’ 25th largest team by transaction volume.

In addition to The Quintin Group, Quintin owns two software companies and a development group, HQ Investments.

CEO Leo Pareja of eXp Realty commended Quintin’s decision to join the brokerage and acknowledged his influence in the South Jersey region, where he has become a prominent agent for athletes associated with the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.

“Jeff Quintin embodies the type of top-tier talent that thrives in eXp’s innovative ecosystem. His vision, commitment, and proven track record align perfectly with our model,” stated Pareja. “We are excited to welcome him and his team as they lead the way in the Southern Jersey and Philly region.”

Quintin and his team are part of eXp’s aggressive recruitment and retention strategy, which has attracted notable brokers like reality TV star Gina Kirschenheiter and several multimillion-dollar teams across various states and Canada.

eXp’s Chief Marketing Officer, Wendy Forsythe, highlighted the company’s focus on recruiting experienced agents and leveraging its status as the industry’s first cloud-based brokerage.

“We’re very much focused on attracting producing agents and teams,” she told Inman in a previous article. “So that top tier of the industry. This year we have had a campaign and mantra around ‘eXp is where the pros go to grow.’ That has really been an anchor of our recruiting efforts, especially given the market.”

“Agents are looking for stability and legacy and all of the important fundamentals that a proven model and brokerage like eXp can provide,” she added. So that’s very much been an overarching focus of our recruiting efforts this year.”
