According to U.S. Central Command, the U.S. military carried out an airstrike in Syria on Monday, targeting and eliminating two ISIS operatives and destroying a truck filled with weapons.
The precision airstrike took place in the Dayr az Zawr Province, previously under Syrian regime and Russian control, resulting in the death of two ISIS operatives and injuring another, as confirmed by CENTCOM.

The targeted operatives, who were driving a truck carrying weapons, had their vehicle destroyed in the airstrike.

“This airstrike is part of CENTCOM’s ongoing commitment, along with partners in the region, to disrupt and degrade efforts by terrorists to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against civilians and military personnel from the U.S., our allies, and our partners throughout the region and beyond,” CENTCOM said in a statement.
