FIRST ON FOX: A top diplomat of the Chinese Communist Party, who recently replaced a controversial official with deep ties to top New York Democrats, recently highlighted his connection with an American university president and former top education official in New Jersey.
Chen Li, the consul general of the People’s Republic of China in New York, praised the “warm hospitality” he received from Kean University President Lamont Repollet in a social media post last week.
“Absolutely overwhelmed by the warm hospitality from President Repollet. I truly felt at home on this campus,” Li wrote on X.
Repollet, who previously served as the New Jersey commissioner of education, was seen smiling in photos with Li.
