The sex scene between Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze in “Red Dawn” did not appear in the 1984 film due to substance abuse.
During a guest appearance on “The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter” podcast on Dec. 20, Grey revealed that she had smoked “a lot of weed” before filming the scene with an intoxicated Swayze.
“We were in this sleeping bag, and he was drunk when he came into it,” Grey told host Scott Feinberg.
