Unfortunately, CeeDee Lamb’s season with the Dallas Cowboys has come to an early end due to a shoulder injury. The team made the announcement that Lamb has been shut down for the remainder of the season to focus on his recovery.
After undergoing additional examinations and scans, it was determined that Lamb’s shoulder injury has progressed to a point where he will not be able to play in the final two games. The team is optimistic that he will not require surgery and is expected to fully recover.
“He will undergo a process of treatment and rehabilitation for his shoulder, is not currently expected to require surgery and is projected to make a full recovery.”

Despite his best efforts, Lamb has been dealing with an AC joint strain since Week 9. The Cowboys, now out of playoff contention, want to ensure Lamb’s full recovery for the next season.

Owner Jerry Jones mentioned Lamb’s situation on a radio show, stating, “We will leave it up to the player.” Lamb has been battling through his injury but is now focused on recovery.
Despite his injury, Lamb had a successful season with over 1,100 yards and six touchdowns. The Cowboys, led by backup quarterback Cooper Rush, will look forward to a better outcome in the next season.
