LG has unveiled its new lineup of gaming monitors ahead of CES. Leading the pack is the UltraGear OLED Bendable Gaming Monitor, boasting a 5K2K-resolution bendable OLED display. With a 45-inch size and a resolution of 5120×2160, it offers a wider gaming canvas compared to typical 4K screens.
Featuring a 21:9 aspect ratio, the monitor promises an immersive gaming experience while maintaining compatibility with various content formats. It can transition from flat to a 900R curvature and offers customizable display options through LG’s Dual-Mode feature. Certified for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, it also supports DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, and USB-C connectivity.
LG is also introducing a non-bendable model with an 800R curve, offering the same features as the bendable version. Both models provide sharp, lifelike images with stunning color accuracy and contrast. Additionally, LG is launching the UltraGear 39GX90SA, a curved 39-inch monitor with webOS for easy streaming access.
Pricing and release dates are yet to be announced, but more details will follow later in the year. CES attendees can preview the UltraGear GX9 series in Las Vegas and stay tuned for additional updates on gaming monitors from various companies.
