We are currently in the semifinal round of the College Football Playoff, and there is a well-known powerhouse favored to win it all.
Let’s take a look at the national title odds from DraftKings Sportsbook as of Jan. 10.
CFP NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS:
Ohio State Buckeyes: -140 (bet $10 to win $17.14 total)
Notre Dame Fighting Irish: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
Texas Longhorns: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
After dominating Oregon 41-21 in the Rose Bowl, the Buckeyes have become the favorites to win the national title.
“That performance early in that game was an overwhelming performance in a positive fashion from the Buckeyes,” FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt said after the game.
“If they play that way, this team is the best team in the country.”
The Texas Longhorns were the favorites before the Jan. 1 games began, but after a close win against Arizona State, their odds shifted slightly from +330 to +320.
Notre Dame, who defeated Georgia and Penn State in the CFP quarterfinals and semifinals, respectively, are now the second favorites at +250.
