Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lend their support to wildfire victims and recovery efforts in Southern California.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are actively supporting Southern California wildfire victims and relief efforts as the fires continue to devastate the region.

The couple visited Pasadena for the second time to meet with Mayor Victor Gordo on Friday, as reported by Fox 11.

Their recent anonymous food delivery to families displaced by the fires was also acknowledged by the media.

“In the last few days, wildfires in Southern California have raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers, and so much more – affecting tens of thousands from all walks of life. A state of emergency has been issued,” the pair described the situation in Southern California on their website on Thursday.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also shared a list of organizations actively assisting wildfire victims.

These organizations included World Central Kitchen, Animal Wellness Foundation, Compton Cowboys, Airbnb, 211LA, Baby2Baby, All Power Books, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.

The couple also encouraged others to extend help to the victims by offering temporary housing, checking on vulnerable neighbors, and donating essential items like clothing and toys.

“Some families and people have been left with nothing,” the couple emphasized on their website. “Please consider donating clothing, children’s toys & clothing, and other essentials.”

They also highlighted the American Red Cross for being on the ground providing assistance to those in need.
