Kelce silenced retirement rumors with his performance, facing criticism throughout the season for his age and personal life distractions. Despite this, he managed to have a successful season with 97 catches, 823 yards, and three touchdowns in 16 games.

At age 35, Kelce played every game of the season except Week 18, where the Chiefs rested their starters. As talks of retirement swirled, Kelce shared that Swift supported his decision to continue playing.
