Kamala Harris faces online ridicule for another jumbled statement on ‘community’

Former Vice President Kamala Harris sparked some online ridicule for her statement on the concept of “community” while talking to firefighters in California.

Following the end of her vice presidency on Monday, Harris visited the Los Angeles Fire Department in Altadena and addressed the press.

“As I told these brave and exceptional firefighters, moments of crisis truly reveal the heroes among us,” she stated. “We went to visit World Central Kitchen. I mean, the volunteers there, some of whom had lost their own homes, are working to help complete strangers, who, in that stranger, they see a neighbor.”

She continued, saying, “These are individuals who understand the power and importance of community, where everyone comes together with a shared purpose and identity as a community of people.”

Harris faced mockery during her time as vice president for her repetitive or unclear statements, such as stating, “I grew up understanding the children of the community are the children of the community.” At another event, she mentioned, “community banks are in the community.”

Her critics on social media were quick to mock her once again for her latest statement.

“A community is a community. Of people. Write that down, please,” sarcastically quipped author Rob Jenkins.

Former U.S. Senate candidate and conservative commentator Paul A. Szypula tweeted, “Kamala is reminding America why she is now unemployed.”

“She might be gone from DC, but remember: Somewhere in the world, someone is being subjected to Kamala’s ‘Deep Thought’ word salads,” joked radio host Jay Weber.

Wall Street Journal film critic Kyle Smith wrote, “unemployed person has thoughts on a matter that happened 3000 miles from where she was.”

“She’s not handling this too well,” suggested political commentator David Freeman. “Soon, she will be completely irrelevant.”

Townhall columnist Derek Hunter asked, “Haven’t these people suffered enough?”
