Luke Littler wins Winmau World Masters in just 10 minutes, with Michael van Gerwen also victorious in new appearance

Luke Littler easily advanced to the second round of the Winmau World Masters in just 10 minutes. The night also saw impressive performances from Jonny Clayton, Michael van Gerwen, Chris Dobey, Dave Chisnall, and Gary Anderson, who all faced defeats.

The reigning PDC world champion, Littler, dominated his match against Andy Baetens, winning 3-0 and setting up a last-16 clash with James Wade. Meanwhile, James Wade defeated Mike De Decker 3-2 in a hard-fought opener.

Littler showcased great accuracy on his doubles against Baetens, hitting his first four attempts and finishing with a success rate of six out of nine on the outer ring.

The next Luke Littler? Canadian 12-year-old Colton Dunn showed off his incredible potential by thrashing Milan Brinkman in the final of the Las Vegas Open Youth.

Nathan Aspinall had a strong performance, pinning six doubles out of eight and a remarkable 161 finish on the bullseye while defeating Andrew Gilding 3-0. He will face Cameron Menzies in the next round after Menzies defeated Dave Chisnall 3-1.

However, the highlight of the night was Jonny Clayton’s outstanding performance, averaging 112.77 to beat Martin Schindler 3-1, bringing a win for Wales after the nation’s rugby union side suffered a defeat in the Six Nations.

Clayton shines as Van Den Bergh defeats Anderson

Clayton will face Ryan Searle in the next round after defeating Chris Dobey 3-1. Van Gerwen also changed his look for the night, wearing a black and gold shirt in his match against Bradley Brooks, which he won 3-1.

Van Gerwen will face Dimitri Van den Bergh in his next match after a convincing win against Anderson. Van den Bergh bounced back from an initial setback to win 3-1, showing stellar form with multiple impressive legs.
