In 2021, Blakely gained recognition by winning the balance beam gold at the Winter Cup and the all-around title at the American Classic, impressively achieving these feats in her debut year as a senior competitor. Since then, she has secured two World Championships gold medals and three Pan American Championships medals.
In early 2024, Blakely signed a partnership deal with Nike and has collaborated with the brand on multiple occasions. Her first campaign with Nike, featuring the Air Max DN collection by Isamaya Ffrench, was unveiled in December 2024.
Recently, Blakely worked on another campaign with Nike, this time promoting the LD-1000 shoes. She took to Instagram to showcase the photos from the shoot and expressed her excitement about the collaboration.

In 2024, Blakely’s journey took a heartbreaking turn when she suffered an Achilles injury during the US Olympic Trials, forcing her to withdraw from the competition and miss out on the Olympics. After more than six months of intense recovery and rehabilitation, she made her comeback to competitive gymnastics, representing the Florida Gators in the NCAA.
Blakely commemorated her return on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to compete again after a challenging recovery period. She highlighted the support of her loved ones, teammates, coaches, and medical staff in her journey back to the sport.
During her debut with the Gators, Blakely showcased her skills on the uneven bars, scoring a respectable 9.725. Fans eagerly anticipate seeing her perform in upcoming competitions as the season progresses.
