Trump’s proposal to take over Gaza Strip receives widespread endorsement within administration

There was overwhelming support for President Donald Trump’s plan to “take over the Gaza Strip,” demolish it, and rebuild the area. This support followed a news conference where Trump announced the plan after a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump stated that the U.S. would take control of the Gaza Strip to ensure its safety and dismantle any dangers present in the area. Many officials voiced agreement with Trump’s sentiment on social media.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman praised Trump’s plan, calling it a historic and brilliant idea for the troubled region. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich also expressed support, emphasizing the need to stop violence and pursue peace.

Budowich emphasized the urgency for lasting peace and a safer Gaza. Senator Marco Rubio also supported Trump’s vision of securing Gaza and ensuring peace for all.

During the press conference, Netanyahu described the Gaza Strip as a symbol of death and destruction and praised Trump’s innovative thinking.

Senator Rick Scott and Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne supported Trump’s initiative for lasting peace in the region. However, Saudi Arabia expressed support for an independent Palestinian state, opposing Trump’s plan.

Senator Rubio and other officials expressed support for the peace initiative. However, Hamas condemned Trump’s plan, emphasizing its commitment to the Gaza Strip and calling for an end to the war for the release of hostages.
