Luke Humphries started his BetMGM Premier League 2025 campaign with a strong 6-1 win over Chris Dobey in the Night One final in Belfast.
Humphries took an early lead in the final, quickly going 3-0 up with impressive 128 and 100 checkouts.
Despite Dobey’s struggles on the doubles, he managed a clutch 126 checkout in the sixth leg, but Humphries continued to dominate and sealed the victory with an 86% success rate on doubles.
Currently at the top of the Premier League table with five points, Humphries commented, “I think this is the hardest Premier League for a long time. Nights like this might not happen as much as you want.” -Sky Sports
