Reports indicate that Secretary Kristi Noem of the Department of Homeland Security warned employees about potential leaks regarding upcoming immigration raids and the use of polygraph tests to combat them.
An internal directive from Noem stated that polygraphs administered by DHS should include a question about unauthorized communication with media outlets and nonprofits.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin shared this information and emphasized the importance of polygraphing personnel for national security reasons.

Leaked information about ICE raids in Aurora, Colorado, and Los Angeles last week is believed to have come from inside, according to border czar Tom Homan.
Homan stated that leaks allowed members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to escape capture during the raids.
Noem, however, accused the FBI of leaking information about the ICE operation in LA.
