French perfume mogul Jean Madar, co-founder of Interparfums, is shaking up the South Florida real estate scene after listing Fisher Island’s priciest estate for a jaw-dropping $55 million, the New York Post reported Thursday.

However, the home isn’t move-in ready just yet. The spec home is still under construction, with completion set for 2026.

The waterfront mansion, located at 1007 Links Drive in Miami, is the first of six luxury spec mansions that he and his brother, Alain Madar, are bringing to the market. The Real Deal reports the homes will range from $31 million to $55 million.

Part of developer Heinrich von Hanau’s 12-lot Links Estates project, the sites were purchased by the Madar Group, led by Jean and Alain, for $40 million, Bloomberg reported.

The mega mansion hit the market just over a week ago and is represented by Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer and Fredrik Eklund.

The price of the estate is steep and so is its size, spanning 15,802 square feet. According to Goldentayer, the mega mansion is the largest home on the private island, as reported by The New York Post.

In such an exclusive community, no detail is being overlooked in the first home’s construction. Once completed, the estate will boast eight bedrooms, 10.5 bathrooms, design work by Portuondo Perotti and Ford Interiors, and landscaping by Enzo Enea.

The new buyer can expect sleek European white oak floors, marble bathrooms with Dornbracht fixtures and an ultra-modern kitchen crafted in Italy, complete with handpicked stone surfaces, according to the property’s listing.

A real standout feature is the rooftop, which has been transformed into a private wellness oasis that includes a gym, hot tub, sauna and meditation garden. Downstairs, there’s a massive pool, summer kitchen and covered dining area.

Fisher Island is a premier private island, accessible only by private yacht or a short auto-ferry ride. The 216-acre island includes a marina, beach club, 18 tennis courts and several restaurants. Notable residents have included Oprah Winfrey, Karolína Kurková and Caroline Wozniacki, according to the New York Post.
