In case you missed Thursday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:

ForbesToday’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Thursday, March 6th

Once again, Friday is upon us. This is my last NYT Mini Crossword guide of the week. I’ll be back in two weeks, spreading joy and cheer and helping you fine folk solve the crossword of the day. Have a lovely week and for those of you heading into Spring Break, enjoy your holiday! Let’s solve Friday’s, shall we?

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Spoilers ahead!

ACROSS

1- What “OOO” can mean — HUGS

5- “You’ve Really Got ___ on Me” (1962 hit) — AHOLD

7- Indian currency — RUPEE

8- What “III” can mean — THREE

9- Call of Duty: Black ___ (video game series) — OPS

DOWN

1- Roxie ___, lead character in “Chicago” — HART

2- “Nope” — UHUH

3- Camera attached to a ski helmet, perhaps — GOPRO

4- What “ZZZ” can mean — SLEEP

6- The middle of “middle” — DEES

This was a fun, and pretty challenging, Mini Crossword. I knew some, like RUPEE (also the currency in Zelda, which was in yesterday’s puzzle) and Black OPS which is the Call of Duty game I’m currently playing. Some were trickier. I didn’t associate OOO with HUGS even though XOXO is hugs and kisses. And UHUH doesn’t really sound like NOPE to me. This one took me 1:46.

How did you do? Let me know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.

If you also play Wordle, I write guides about that as well. You can find those and all my TV guides, reviews and much more here on my blog. Thanks for reading!
