Looking for help with today’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle? Here are some hints and answers for the … More
In case you missed Wednesday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:
Thor’s Day is here. I’ve always been a bit partial to Thursday’s. I suppose it’s because the week is nearing an end but not quite there yet. Anticipation of the weekend is strong, but you’re not quite chomping at the bit like you are on Friday. Of course, I don’t really operate on a weekday vs weekend model anymore. If anything, my weekends are often busier work-wise than my weekdays. Go figure. In any case, it’s time to solve a Mini Crossword. Let’s do it!
The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

Today’s Mini
My brain was not working very well this evening and I just kept not remembering words, like ECOLI, which aren’t that tricky. 5 and 7 across were tough simply because you can’t really get one without the other, but hopping over to 5-down gave me JET and then JENGA and TOWER were more obvious. In any case, this took me 1:27 today.
