A man from Tennessee who was wanted on a warrant was apprehended after he dared law enforcement by posting photos on social media.
The Sheriff’s Office in Shelby County reported that 25-year-old Devon Bart was discovered and taken into custody on Friday after he shared pictures on a popular social media platform, provoking deputies.
Deputies mentioned that along with the now-deleted photos, Bart stated that “if he was going to prison, authorities would need to locate him first.”
“We treat all warrants and the law very seriously at the Sheriff’s Office,” stated Chief Deputy Anthony Buckner in a post on the department’s Facebook page.
