A heartwarming video circulating on social media captures Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) skipper Rishabh Pant granting a young fan’s wish. In the video, the boy, waiting outside the team hotel, cutely responds with ‘Pizza’ when asked about his desired treat from Pant.

Upon viewing the clip of the young fan’s pizza request, Pant, the LSG captain, remarked:

“Pizza khila do yaar isko.”

Pant later met the fan, signed an autograph, posed for photos, and fulfilled his wish by getting him a pizza.

Switching gears to cricket, Rishabh Pant’s LSG recently faced the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, April 14. The match saw LSG setting a target of 166/7 in their 20 overs, with Pant leading the charge by scoring 63 off 49 balls, including four fours and four sixes.

In response, CSK’s opening duo of Rachin Ravindra (37 off 22) and Shaik Rasheed (27 off 19) provided a strong start. Shivam Dube then steadied the chase with an unbeaten 43 off 37 balls, while MS Dhoni’s quickfire 26* off just 11 deliveries secured a five-wicket victory for CSK with three balls remaining.

Rishabh Pant’s LSG will clash with Rajasthan Royals in their upcoming IPL 2025 match

LSG is set to take on the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their eighth game of the season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Saturday, April 19.

Currently occupying fifth place on the points table with eight points from seven matches, LSG will aim to continue their momentum. Meanwhile, RR sits in eighth place with four points from seven games.
