Trump jokes with veteran about anti-Biden sticker in Oval Office exchange

President Donald Trump caused laughter in the Oval Office on Wednesday after inquiring about a wounded veteran’s “Let’s Go Brandon” sticker.

During a meeting with wounded veterans, the president noticed the sticker and asked, “Who is that picture on there?”

“That is Joe Biden,” the veteran responded. “And it says, ‘Let’s go, Brandon.’” Laughter erupted among the attendees in the iconic office.

“I’m saying, ‘what was that picture?'” Trump chuckled. “That’s great.”

The “Let’s Go Brandon” phrase originated during a 2021 NASCAR interview where a sports reporter misheard a crowd chant. Following Brandon Brown’s victory at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, a crowd started chanting “F— Joe Biden” in the background of his interview.

NBC reporter Kelli Stavast misinterpreted the chant as “Let’s Go Brandon!”
