Protests in Kenya to commemorate the anniversary of the deadly 2024 anti-tax demonstrations escalated into violence. According to rights group Amnesty Kenya, at least 16 individuals were killed, and 400 more were injured during Wednesday’s protests. A government minister accused the demonstrators of attempting a coup.
