AEW boasts numerous stars who have captured the attention of fans worldwide. Among them, Powerhouse Hobbs stands out. Despite a lengthy absence due to an injury that required surgery, the 34-year-old returned late last year and resumed his momentum.
During a recent interview with KTVU, Hobbs was asked about his interest in pursuing a career in Hollywood. The former member of The Don Callis Family expressed his primary focus on becoming a top name in the wrestling industry. However, he acknowledged uncertainty regarding potential future ventures outside the ring.
“As of right now, my goal is to be the best in this business. That’s my main focus right now. Who knows what the future may hold, but as of right now, my main goal is to take over this business,” he said.

AEW star Powerhouse Hobbs makes Jon Moxley demand
During the same interview, Powerhouse Hobbs issued a challenge to current World Champion Jon Moxley, expressing his desire for a rematch.
Recalling an incident where he was attacked by the Death Riders while facing Moxley, Hobbs asserted his right to a rematch.
“I definitely want my rematch against Jon Moxley, the current AEW World Champion. I had a title shot against him in his hometown, Cincinnati. Him and his crew got the best of me. So, I want my title shot,” he said.
It remains to be seen if Jon Moxley will consider this request and if Tony Khan will sanction it. While Hobbs’ desire for a rematch is justified, the outcome will depend on whether he can achieve his goal.
