According to Reuters, Amazon is potentially preparing to launch an advanced, AI-powered Alexa experience.
As per the report, Amazon is set to showcase an enhanced version of Alexa at an event on February 26. This updated Alexa will have the capability to process multiple commands sequentially, unlike the current version which usually handles one request at a time.
Initially, the new Alexa will be offered to a limited number of users for free, with Amazon contemplating a monthly fee of $5 to $10. Regardless, the company will still provide the current widely available version of Alexa, referred to as “Classic Alexa.”
Development of Amazon’s new Alexa faced various challenges, including difficulties in setting timers properly at one stage.
