Andi Dorfman recently experienced both joy and concern in a matter of days.
First, she welcomed her first child with husband Blaine Hart on December 20, sharing the news on Instagram with a post that said, “28 hours of labor later and we are officially a party of three.”
Shortly after giving birth, Dorfman had to undergo surgery to remove hematomas, or collections of blood that form outside blood vessels.
In an Instagram post on December 27, she shared her experience, stating that she felt intense pain after returning home and eventually went to the hospital for treatment.
She discovered that she had a large and small hematoma causing the pain and had to undergo surgery to address the issue.
Dorfman, now a new parent, admitted feeling guilty about focusing on her own health, but realized that she needed to be well to care for her daughter.
She also emphasized the importance of listening to your body and trusting your instincts, especially during the recovery process.
