AOC Unleashes a Series of Fiery Instagram Rants Ahead of Inauguration Day

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York, also known as AOC, was visibly upset on social media on Sunday with several posts on Instagram related to President-elect Donald Trump.

She began by scolding TikTok for sending a notification thanking “President Trump” for restoring the app.

“A law banning TikTok has been passed in the U.S. Unfortunately, this means that TikTok cannot be used for now. Thankfully, President Trump has expressed that he will cooperate with us to bring back TikTok once he assumes office. Please stay tuned,” the notification read.

In her Instagram stories, AOC mentioned that Trump is not currently the president but a private citizen, questioning TikTok’s choice of words by referring to him as such.

“To clarify, Donald Trump is not the president at the moment. He is a private citizen without access to presidential powers,” stated AOC.

She accused TikTok of privately collaborating with Trump and his administration by mentioning him in the notification.

“And for those concerned about TikTok being used for propaganda by the Chinese, realize that it’s also being used as a tool for the right,” she added.

She cautioned her followers, “We are on the brink of an authoritarian regime. This is the beginning of 21st-century fascism.”

Later that evening, she expressed her frustration on Instagram about being repeatedly asked if she would be attending Trump’s inauguration on Monday.

“All these journalists kept asking, ‘Congresswoman, are you going to the inauguration?'” AOC angrily stated. “Let me make it clear. I do not support rapists, so no, I will not be attending the inauguration.”
