Apple is making changes at the executive level to enhance its AI efforts and Siri. Kim Vorrath, a 36-year Apple veteran who played a key role in the release of Vision Pro software, has transitioned to the artificial intelligence and machine learning division as a top deputy working under AI chief John Giannandrea, according to Bloomberg reports.
The addition of Vorrath, known for her work in the original iPhone software group, to the AI team suggests Apple’s commitment to strengthening its AI development. This move also hints at Apple’s recognition of the growing importance of AI in its future strategy compared to Vision Pro.
Bloomberg also mentions that Giannandrea’s memo highlights the AI group’s focus on enhancing Siri’s infrastructure and refining the company’s AI models internally for the year ahead.
