The team plans to install an aluminum version of the prototype on a Birmingham rooftop for further testing and aims to launch a compact wind turbine model by the end of 2025. They are also working on a version tailored to the wind conditions in Edinburgh.

Another innovative urban wind energy solution is the “wind wall” proposed by designer Joe Doucet in New York. This vertical-axis wind turbine wall, named Airiva, features a helix-shaped design and can generate substantial energy per year.
