The successful candidate will lead the centre’s fundraising activities, working closely with co-directors to secure income from individual donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partnerships.
They will also be responsible for establishing a legacy giving programme.
The role will involve creating and managing a database of prospective donors, planning cultivation events, and developing the Producers’ Circle and other donor networks.
Candidates should have proven experience in fundraising, preferably within the arts, heritage, or non-profit sectors.
They should also have a track record of securing income from individuals, trusts, or corporate funders.
The role will also involve writing and submitting funding applications that align with the centre’s mission and programmes.
The successful candidate will work closely with trustees and staff to connect supporters to the centre’s values and impact.
They will also be responsible for creating opportunities for donors to act as champions and advocates for the centre’s work.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a collaborative and adaptable working style.
The role is part-time, requiring 22.5 hours of work per week, with a salary of £35,000.
