The built-in camera features a 2MP wide-angle lens capable of shooting at 1080p, as well as a 3MP “Portrait Lens” with 2K resolution. With an IP66 waterproof rating, the camera is designed to withstand bird splashes, rain, and even a direct blast from a water hose. However, it may experience performance issues in extremely cold temperatures below 14 degrees Fahrenheit (or minus 10 degrees Celsius).
The Birdfy Bath Pro alerts you when birds arrive and features a fountain component with five interchangeable nozzles that create captivating water patterns. Priced at $249.99, or $299.99 with the stand included, you can also opt for a lifetime subscription to the AI analysis service for an additional $50. This service provides bird recognition, daily visitor counts, bird picture highlights, and monthly recaps comparing your bath activity with other Birdfy owners.
Additional features of the Birdfy Bath Pro include an integrated solar panel to maintain its 9,000mAh battery, cloud storage for storing videos and images, and Wi-Fi connectivity for real-time viewing of bird activity on your phone.
