Trump supports two GOP candidates in Arizona’s gubernatorial election

President Donald Trump faced a dilemma after endorsing conservative Karrin Taylor Robson for governor of Arizona, as Republican Rep. Andy Biggs unexpectedly entered the race. On Monday, Trump announced his support for both candidates.

Robson, a small business owner and lawyer, received Trump’s endorsement when no other candidates were running. Trump explained in a post on Truth Social that he endorsed Robson because she asked for his support when no one else was running. However, when Biggs entered the race, Trump found himself in a tricky situation.

As a solution, Trump decided to endorse both Robson and Biggs, both of whom are Republicans and have expressed gratitude for Trump’s backing.

Robson expressed gratitude for Trump’s endorsement in a statement to Fox News Digital, reiterating her commitment to Trump’s conservative, America First agenda.

Biggs, in response, thanked Trump on social media for the endorsement, expressing readiness to work alongside him as Governor of Arizona.

Both candidates have committed to cutting taxes and strengthening border security in Arizona.

“I thank President Trump for his strong endorsement and look forward to working with him to secure our border and make Arizona safe again,” Robson stated back in February when Trump endorsed her. “Like President Trump, I know how to create jobs. And like President Trump, I will not rest until our border is secure and Arizona families are safe.”
